Our Single LAM Chemical Pads are designed to clean up chemical spills in industrial and laboratory settings. 'Single LAM' refers to a construction where the top layer is bonded to the core material; this strengthens the pad to prevent it from falling apart during use. The pads are specifically designed to contain and absorb fluids like acids, solvents and aggressive fluids.

Our Single LAM Oil Pads are designed to absorb oil based liquids and repel water. They are made for cleaning up spills on wet surfaces and wiping down oily equipment. The pads are designed for oil only absorption and for the cleaning of hydro-carbon fluids such as, Petroleum, Diesel and Motor-Oil. Their ability to float and repel water makes them perfect for cleaning oil spills on water.

Our Single LAM Maintenance Pads are designed to absorb oil and other fluids in industrial and maintenance settings. The pads are designed with easy-tear perforation, this allows for reduced waste which also reduces costs when it comes to clean up. These are perfect for anybody working in maintenance work: Plumbing, Electrics, Hydraulic inspection, Predictive maintenance etc

  • Top Layer is made of a low lint, durable spun-bond polypropylene
  • Core/Base layer is made from high loft meltblown fibres
  • Easy tear perforations let you take only what you need, so you use less and save money 


How to use

  1. Identify the Spill: Determine if the spill is a chemical, oil or maintenance issue and select appropriate pad
  2. Gather Safety Gear: Ensure you have the correct personal protective equipment (PPE)
  3. Plan for Disposal: Have a suitable container ready to safely dispose of the saturated pad after clean up.
  4. Contain the Spill: Place a barrier around the spill to prevent it from spreading further (Usually you can use spill socks to do this, contact us directly for enquiries on spill socks)
  5. Apply the Pad: Lay the absorbent pad directly onto the spilled liquid 
  6. Absorb the Substance: Allow the pad to sit on the spill for a few minutes to fully absorb
  7. Remove Saturated Pad: Once substance is absorbed, carefully lift the pad (Try not to press down on it)
  8. Clean Up Residue: Wipe up any remaining residue with a cloth or sponge
  9. Dispose of Waste: Place the used pad and any other cleaning products involved into a plastic bag or waste container designed for proper disposal
